Beedie Group building huge industrial warehouse
The Beedie Group is building what it says is Metro Vancouver's largest single-floor industrial building at its Queensborough site in New Westminster.
The 504,000-square-foot warehouse (the equivalent of about seven Canadian football fields) will be built on a 22-acre site to meet the warehousing needs of New Westminster-based Kruger Products, a major producer of tissue products.

Since its establishment in 1990, the SFU Softball team has been without a home field. Recently, the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA) granted Simon Fraser University membership as the first non-American school to compete in the NCAA. While a training field was available on campus, it was not of sufficient standard to host visiting NCAA teams from throughout the US.
